I am a graduate of the College of Design at the University of Minnesota. In December 2013, I received my BFA in Graphic Design.
I am currently the Communications Director at National Scholastic Press Association. NSPA is an education non-profit that supports student journalism. I am responsible for all print and digital design pieces for the association. I manage the NSPA, ACP and MHSPA websites and coordinate with NSPA's technical partners to ensure website maintenance, enhance user experience and oversee the development of new digital/web projects.
My love for editorial comes from my years at the Minnesota Daily. The experience of working at this completely student-run newspaper gave me an appreciation for good, ethical journalism.
I now live in Minneapolis but am originally from a small town in Wisconsin. When I'm not designing, I'm traveling or hanging out with my cat.
